Description:

SHUTTERING CARPENTER

• 1. Construct and install formwork (shutters) for casting concrete structures like columns, beams, and walls.
• 2. Measure and cut materials such as plywood and timber for building formworks.
• 3. Ensure formwork is level and properly aligned according to specifications.
• 4. Assemble and disassemble shuttering systems, ensuring proper reinforcement for concrete pours.
• 5. Repair or modify formwork as necessary to meet construction plans.
• 6. Coordinate with site engineers and other team members for timely completion of tasks.

Steel Fixer:

• 1. Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints to determine reinforcement requirements.
• 2.Cut, bend, and tie rebars or steel mesh to reinforce concrete structures.
• 3. Position and secure steel bars or mesh in formwork prior to concrete pouring.
• 4. Use tools like wire cutters, rebar benders, and welding equipment to assemble steel reinforcements.
• 5. Collaborate with engineers and site managers to ensure proper coordination of steelwork and formwork.

General Requirements: Shuttering Carpenter and Steel Fixer Jobs In Bahrain

• – Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Bahrain or other GCC countries.
• – Strong knowledge of construction techniques and safety procedures.
• – Ability to work long hours, including overtime as per project requirements.

• – Working hours: 8 hours daily + overtime subject to project needs.
