Job Description
We are seeking an accountant with at least 2 years of experience in the trading or distribution business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle various accounting tasks efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- – Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- – Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- – Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- – Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- – Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.
- – Support year-end closing and audit processes.
Qualifications:
- – ACCA, MBA finance, CA, CMA
- – Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the trading or distribution industry.
- – Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Bookkeeper or similar).
- – Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- – Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- – High attention to detail and accuracy.
- – Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
