Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer systems and networks. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, coordinate with vendors, and support our custom software development.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Design, implement, and maintain computer systems and networks, including PCs, servers, networking equipment, and software applications.
- • Enhance security measures, recover lost data, and resolve system crashes.
- • Oversee vendor selection and management for hardware, software, networking, and telecommunications.
- • Maintain and update system documentation regularly.
- • Support custom software development and quality assurance processes.
- • Maintain server and data communications, voice network and devices, desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, and GPS devices.
- • Coordinate with vendors and ISP providers for procurement and maintenance.
- • Set up VPNs to establish interconnectivity between offices.
- • Manage license renewals and software upgrades, particularly for antivirus programs.
- • Rearrange data and voice communication cables, centralizing control in the server room.
- • Manage the BATELCO PBX system and phones independently.
- • Print employee ID and access control cards.
- • Upgrade laptops and ensure optimal utilization.
- • Provide quick support through effective vendor coordination.
Qualifications: Urgently Needed IT Engineer In Bahrain
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- • Proven work experience in IT (minimum of 3 to 5 years).
- • Strong knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems.
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
