A key member of our finance team, the Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This position is responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities: Accountant Job In Bahrain
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess financial performance, and support decision-making.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for external audits.
Accounting Operations:
- Record and process accounting transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain fixed asset records and ensure proper depreciation calculations.
- Prepare journal entries and other accounting documentation.
Tax Compliance:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Gather and organize tax-related data and documentation.
- Research and apply tax laws and regulations relevant to company operations.
- Support tax planning and compliance activities.
Internal Controls:
- Adhere to established internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Identify and report potential financial risks.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of risk management strategies.
Financial Systems:
- Utilize accounting software and financial systems to perform accounting tasks.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting software and financial systems.
- Maintain the security and integrity of financial data.
