DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: QS/ Estimator Job in Bahrain
Intro: Estimation Engineers are responsible for accurately estimating the cost and time required to complete engineering projects. They work with clients and project managers to understand the project’s scope and develop a detailed estimate.
- * Meeting with clients and project managers to discuss the scope of the project.
- * Prepares project cost estimates, evaluate contractors’ bids, and recommend the best option to the client.
- * Must have a strong understanding of construction methods and materials and an ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- * Work with architects and project managers to ensure the project stays within budget.
- * Must have excellent mathematical skills and use different construction software programs to create cost estimates.
- They should also communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors. Researching to determine the cost of materials and construction workers
- * Uses software programs to generate cost estimates
- * Reviews estimates with clients and project managers
- * Makes revisions to estimates as needed
- * Provides support during the project implementation phase
- * Understands the scope of the project and developing a detailed estimate
- * Works with clients and project managers to ensure that all necessary information is gathered
- * Generates accurate estimates using various software programs
- * Reviews estimates with clients and project managers
- * Adjusts estimates as necessary based on changes in the scope of the project
