Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Supervisor to manage the daily operations of our sports bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for sports and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Supervisor For Sports Bar
Staff Management: Oversee and manage the performance of bar staff, including bartenders, servers, and support staff. Ensure all team members are following company policies and providing high-quality service.
Customer Service: Ensure a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for all guests. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.
Inventory Control: Monitor and manage stock levels of beverages, food, and supplies. Coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking and ensure that the bar is always well-stocked.
Financial Management: Assist with cash handling, daily sales reports, and maintaining financial records. Ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and securely.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute sports-related events, promotions, and special offers to attract and retain customers. Work with marketing to promote events effectively.
Sports Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with major sports events, teams, and leagues. Use this knowledge to create a sports-centric environment, including selecting appropriate broadcasts and organizing themed events.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that the bar operates in accordance with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections and maintain a clean, safe environment for both staff and customers.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to staff to improve their skills and enhance overall service quality.
Scheduling: Prepare staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events, while managing labor costs effectively.
Reporting: Report to the General Manager on the bar’s performance, including financials, customer feedback, and operational challenges. Provide recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications: Supervisor For Sports Bar
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Extensive knowledge of sports, including major events, teams, and leagues.
Knowledge of bar operations, inventory management, and financial reporting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak times and events.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
Ability to handle cash, POS systems, and basic financial reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in managing a sports bar or similar venue.
Experience in event planning and promotions.
Working Hours:
Flexible, with availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays as require
