Compliance Officer Job in Bahrain
Location: Salmaniya Region, Bahrain
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial sector. A Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, business administration, or a related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Diploma in International Compliance or similar professional qualifications recognized by the International Compliance Association.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Monitoring industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure organizational compliance.
- Collaborating with management to develop effective compliance training programs for staff.
- Investigating and resolving compliance issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a compliance function of a financial institution.
- Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, business administration, or a relevant field.
- Preferred professional qualifications such as Diploma in International Compliance (ICA) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to identify compliance risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
