Description: Logistics Sales Executive (Sea Freight) – Bahrain

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Sales Executive specialized in Sea Freight to join our team in Sitra, Bahrain.

Primary Responsibilities: Logistics Sales Executive (Sea Freight) – Bahrain

  • Grow revenue and relationships with existing customer base.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Utilize inside sales knowledge to effectively promote sea freight services.
  • Quote formal and spot bids to potential clients.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining close contact with all customers and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, shippers, and receivers regarding changes in pick-up/delivery and potential service failures.
  • Provide documented activity reports of sales efforts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales and profit.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate contracts and rate agreements with clients.
  • Support carrier representatives with the coordination of transportation freight in a cost-effective manner.
  • Document issues with orders thoroughly.
  • Track and trace shipments when requested.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics sales, specialized in sea freight.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior phone etiquette.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
