We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Sales Executive specialized in Sea Freight to join our team in Sitra, Bahrain.
Primary Responsibilities: Logistics Sales Executive (Sea Freight) – Bahrain
- Grow revenue and relationships with existing customer base.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Utilize inside sales knowledge to effectively promote sea freight services.
- Quote formal and spot bids to potential clients.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining close contact with all customers and addressing concerns promptly.
- Communicate effectively with customers, shippers, and receivers regarding changes in pick-up/delivery and potential service failures.
- Provide documented activity reports of sales efforts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales and profit.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts and rate agreements with clients.
- Support carrier representatives with the coordination of transportation freight in a cost-effective manner.
- Document issues with orders thoroughly.
- Track and trace shipments when requested.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics sales, specialized in sea freight.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior phone etiquette.
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
