Location : Bahrain

Maintenance assistant with prior experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field with a specific focus on MEP maintenance.

1. Knowledge of maintenance and repair of all equipment (mechanical/electrical / AC) of container handling equipment.
2. Able to lead the maintenance team and ensure compliance with all maintenance plans and prioritizing on the shift of breakdown repairs.
3. Accountable for ensuring work quality for all the repairs and maintenance tasks
4.Able to perform safety Standards for all activities related to Asset Maintenance & Guide staff to follow.
5.able to deal with the HSSE team to ensure compliance of all equipment is in a safe working condition and that all safety devices are in place and fully functional.

•At least 7 years in a related position in the ports industry or Facility Management with a specific focus on MEP maintenance.
•Working knowledge of terminal maintenance practices and principles. Specific working knowledge of support equipment, cranes, and power generation is required.
•Extensive knowledge of general HSSE rules and regulations, especially related to equipment maintenance.
•knowledge of IT, especially MS Office applications.
•Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
•Supervision & leadership skills.
