Job Opportunity Pastry Assistant Chef in Bahrain
About Us:
We are a newly established bakery dedicated to producing innovative and modern bakery goods. We are looking for a passionate Pastry Assistant who is eager to learn and be inspired under the guidance of our head chef.
Position Available:
- Pastry Assistant Chef
Main Responsibilities:
- Experience in Lamination: Assisting the head chef in preparation, baking, and maintaining a clean kitchen.
- Pastry Techniques: Knowledge of scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, and finishing.
- Production Management: Overseeing the production of pastries and bread.
- Administrative Duties: Maintaining an efficient workspace.
- Equipment Supervision: Regular inspection and cleaning of preparation and cooking equipment.
- Food Quality Standards: Ensuring adherence to food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation standards.
- Storage Management: Monitoring holding and storage operations, food rotation, and maintaining food service sanitation standards.
- Regulation Compliance: Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school or equivalent required; formal culinary training or associate degree in culinary arts preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of pastry experience in an F&B environment; experience in a similar role preferred.
