Description:
A leading construction Company in The Kingdom Of Bahrain seeks to employ a highly motivated and experienced Construction Procurement Engineer to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives.
- Source and select qualified suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure favorable terms.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoicing, and payments.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in construction procurement.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment, and specifications.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
