Purchasing Executive Job in Bahrain

Job Description:
We are seeking a Purchasing Executive with construction experience to join our team. The role involves researching potential vendors, evaluating offers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of construction materials. The Purchasing Executive will also maintain records, prepare reports, and monitor stock levels in coordination with warehouse staff.
Responsibilities:
- Research potential vendors and suppliers for construction materials.
- Compare and evaluate offers to determine the best deals.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of purchased products.
- Review the quality of materials received.
- Enter order details into internal databases and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses and budget forecasts.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse staff for proper storage.
- Ensure compliance with supply chain procedures and company policies.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role in the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices, including research and evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software and ERP systems.
- Understanding of supply chain procedures and logistics.
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build supplier relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
- Fluent spoken and written English proficiency.
