Description: Job Opportunity AutoCAD Technician

Responsibilities:

• Read and understand orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) designs and supplier/manufacturer drawings.
• Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
• Implement CAD functionality and applications effectively.
• Work closely with other Designer/Drafters and Engineers to ensure coordinated design.
• Produce designs that meet the requirements and targets.
• Make required changes, additions, and/or revisions as directed by immediate supervisor.
• Coordinate with production staff to ensure engineered projects are manufactured properly and ready for installation.

Qualifications: Job Opportunity AutoCAD Technician

• Both males and females are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in Low Current Systems is preferred.
• BS Degree in engineering, computer science, EEGs or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years’ experience with CAD-related software and systems, including MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of CAD systems and materials science.
• Spatial imagination and methodical understanding.
